Alphonsa Jojan

I have a deep research and teaching interest in biodiversity law and policy. Currently, as a research affiliate of Dakshin I am exploring the potential of Biological Diversity Act and the Peoples Biodiversity Register to facilitate fishing communities engagement with decentralised marine biodiversity governance. I have published various works in Economic and Political Weekly, Down to Earth, Livelaw and SpicyIP. I previously worked with the Indian National Biodiversity Authority, Natural Justice and Dakshin Foundation. I was a teaching faculty at the Tamil Nadu National Law University.
