Qualification:
BSc Botany (2013-16), Gargi College, University of Delhi

MA Environment and Development, Ambedkar University Delhi (2016-18)

PADI Open-Water diver certificate (2018)

I joined Dakshin Foundation in 2018 as a Research Assistant to work on a project on Marine Protected Areas in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, where we are studying the management of MPAs. In addition, we are doing a preliminary assessment of public infrastructure for tourism in and around the MPAs, and study engagement of different stakeholders involved in the tourism sector.

My research interests broadly lie in governance and management of resource use. What fascinates me the most is the interdisciplinary approach to study the policies interventions and how decision making is in turn affected on the ground. In the past, I have had the opportunity to work with the pastoral community in Ladakh and Sahariya tribals in Madhya Pradesh, during my Master’s course.
