Profile: Martina has always been interested in natural systems and her journey in conservation started with mapping high-altitude langur distribution in the western Himalayas, and setting up a project for the langurs, The Himalayan Langur Project. She worked extensively in the region, in setting up a farmer’s collective to exchange ideas on crop protection and human-wildlife conflict mitigation in the mountains. At Dakshin, Martina is involved primarily in funds and donor management. She also assists the Director in the general administration and smooth functioning of the organization,  internal governance, organizational planning and growth.
