Qualifications: M.Sc. Marine Biology, Pondicherry University, 2015
I am passionate about communicating the intricacies and nuances of ecosystems and ecological interactions using biological and socio-cultural contexts. Facilitating students/general public to link the same to personal everyday incidents and allowing them to grasp the inclusive nature of the life we lead on this planet is one of my primary goals.
I have inculcated and accepted teaching and learning as a way of life. I want to empower all learners to become more cognitive about the way they learn, so that they can simultaneously apply their knowledge for problem solving (which is much needed in today’s world!). I hope to make education a continuous process in the lives of future generations rather than simply letting them reminisce about it as an event that stretched over their childhood (as we do now!).
Armed with brief experiences in the fields of literature, wildlife ecology, human-wildlife conflict, education research and pedagogy, I am interested in taking a multidisciplinary approach to conservation education.
I am currently involved in executing Educational Programmes at ANET.
