Radhika Viswanathan

Profile: Radhika Viswanathan is a researcher and development communication specialist from Bangalore, India. Her interests lie in the intersection between development research, policy and communication. She brings her experience working with government, multilateral and international development agencies, and NGOs on local governance, panchayats, water and sanitation, science and innovation policy and fundraising research. As a member of the World Bank’s Social Observatory, she has worked closely on a long term ethnography of gram panchayats and local governance in India. She is also a translator, and has translated a popular science book for children from French to English in 2011, published by Lamartiniere Jeunesse and Universities Press. She holds Masters degrees from the London School of Economics and Political Science and the University of Strasbourg.
