Rhea completed her undergraduate degree from FLAME University, Pune, with a major in Environmental Studies and a minor in Literary and Culture Studies. Her association with Dakshin started during an internship assisting with lab activities for the sea snake programme.
After graduating, she joined Dakshin as the Outreach Coordinator for the sea turtle programme. So far, her work has involved managing the content for websites like Sea Turtles of India, creating and curating social media content, copy editing reports and other outreach material, and coordinating the efforts of the Turtle Action Group (a collective of NGOs along the coast of India that work on sea turtles).
