Profile: Srinivas belongs to a small town from Telangana. He did bachelor’s in biology from Azim Premji University with a minor of Development and Sustainability. From the minor course he resonated with the real-life developmental issues and did Master’s in Development at Azim Premji University in Bangalore. Srinivas is interested in resource management and sustainable livelihoods. During his master’s internship, he worked with the beedi workers union in Davangere, Karnataka. He had an exposure to the lived experiences and challenges faced by beedi workers in Davangere. He did an independent research study with an agrarian community on impact of non-farm activities and migration in Anantapur.

He is a part of the SeaChange team in the Andamans and is working towards community wellbeing and sustainable resource management by working with multiple stakeholders. He is excited to understand the local governance and local resource management at the field sites of SeaChange Andamans.
