At Dakshin, I work with fishing communities  in Ganjam, Odisha to explore ways of strengthening their claims over coastal and marine commons. Prior to joining Dakshin, I worked on a community data project that aimed to create a proof-of-concept spatial data platform mapping the WASH infrastructure of an economically backward urban community. Over the years, I have become increasingly interested in  research and advocacy on commons – be it digital, forest or coastal. My other areas of interest include gender and sexuality, mental health and the need for safe spaces, digital economy, labour movements and anarcho-communism. I am also an avid fan-fiction reader.
